Really cool location. The coffee (cold brew) was amazing! Not sure if she was the manager, but the girl Jess really knew coffee. I enjoy cold brew and like to know about the process at each place and the beans etc. most baristas have no clue other than how long they steep the cold brew for. But this girl knew it all! Bravo! Great selection and products. Friendly people. I dont think most people know about going out back. Such a lovely, quiet and neat place to enjoy coffee and snack while escaping the buzz of king st. Forgot to take pics while there.

Really enjoying this coffeehouse. Great coffee. Quite comfy space. I also enjoyed an egg burrito. Footnote that I am very disappointed in people who bring their dogs and let them sit on the couch.

Mudhouse Coffee Shop on King Street is a Charleston gem! The staff are skilled and engaging, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and every drink is expertly crafted. Their espresso martini is unmatched, and even a simple chia was exceptional. On point in every way, every visit—definitely a must stop!

A wonderful stop for both travelers and locals. The garden seating was perfect for our family, and Wright made us feel right at home with excellent recommendations and thoughtful food pairings. Visit for great coffee and leave refreshed by the welcoming, life‑giving atmosphere. I recommend the pour over and lemon cake.

Jessica and the baristas were super friendly and welcoming, the whole place was really clean and inviting. The coffee was delicious, exactly what you would want from a coffee shop. I also tried the blueberry muffin (so good and fresh) and the espresso martini. The espresso martini was next level. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in Charleston.

The coffee was so good — we had Americano and drip coffee. I don’t normally eat burritos unless they’re tasty because of my allergies but their burritos are really tasty, probably the best burritos I’ve ever had! We devoured them before taking a photo…

Definitely coming back here next time I’m in Charleston , supreme coffee and service. Thank you Becca for telling me about the terrace, I really enjoyed my time here. The sandbar latte with the coconut cold foam was bomb!

Great spot! Great service. Another dude named Peter ordered right after me and the staff made sure that the items were served to the correct individuals. Thank you. The iced latte was perfectly balanced. The roast was strong and noticeable, but not overwhelming. I like to taste the espresso. The breakfast burrito was a good size. The environment is a good place to study, meet a friend, or dodge other people's pets.

Super cute coffee shop with great energy! The homemade pop tart was one of the tastiest things we had the whole trip! Soft, flaky and perfect sweetness level. The chai was more on the spicy/nutty side which paired well with the sweet pastries!

Cool place. Good coffee and snacks. Friendly staff always willing to answer my dumb questions. Nice cute little courtyard out back. Seasonal drinks are always yummy interesting creations. House-made syrups. Ignore the other reviewers citing bitterness. I’m not a coffee snob at all but I hate how Starbucks milkshakes have skewed everyone’s palettes to where they think good coffee is bad now.
